These heavy-duty aluminum mirror mounts offer the user an option between the plated steel and stainless steel mirror mounts. Either may be used for single or dual antenna installations. Both of our aluminum mirror mounts include stainless steel hardward to compliment the corrosion resistant characteristic of the aluminum. Each also comes complete with our popular K-4A antenna stud mount. Either mount, depending upon the strength of the object it is mounted to, is capable of supporting antennas up to 5' (1.5m) in length. The bracket in each model is 2.5" (64mm) tall, 2" (51mm) wide and has a horizontal protrusion of 1.8" (46mm). The material thickness is about 0.200" (5mm). There are, however, a difference in the two mounts.
The M-164A mount has a gripping groove in both the L-bracket and the mating clamp made specifically for round materials. If your installation involves a horizonal mirror arm, luggage rack or rail, this is the mount for you.
The M-264A mount is more universal than the M-164A version. The L-bracket does not have a groove in it so the clamp may be used either horizontally or vertically in order to accomodate mirror arms or rails in either direction. Also, if you want a side mount, the clamp can be omitted and the bracket can be mounted to any verticle surface. WHERE TO BUY?
